Strange. I had been admiring the pot of orchids since the day I saw it being placed in the chapel. But somehow I just did not think that the flowers were real and I wondered why anyone would place artificial flowers there.
Recently, I seemed to notice that one of the leaves was turning a little yellow. I thought again to myself: it cannot be artificial flowers. Who would make flowers that are fading in its beauty?
True enough, my suspicion that the flowers were real and a treat to the eyes was confirmed when one of the ladies was seen spraying it with water. Ah, these are real flowers. How beautiful they are, but like all living things on earth, they have a short life span.
Thank God for photography. . . you can capture them and keep looking at them.
