Till we meet again Part 4

A priest offered a mass for the late Fr Phillips when he first heard of the news.

Fr Phillips Muthu was a year after him in the Major Seminary in Penang,

and this priest remembered him as a very outstanding and dedicated priest.

He remembered dearly that when Archbishop Soter was in Kuala Lumpur,

Fr Phillips was the personal secretary and he did a wonderful job.

Listening to this priest

it was evident he remembered much about his brother priest

“The death of a priest is unlike the death of any other:

we feel it differently, deeply.

We sense that in losing Fr Phillips,  we have lost not only the man

but also his unique way of manifesting God.”

Fr Phillips is so inspiring as we hear also

negative remarks about the priesthood.

Like so many faithful priests,

Fr Phillips lived his priesthood

with all his heart

greatly loved by all races

He light shines for all to see.

Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace and enjoy his heavenly reward.

May God bless and reward you all for the love you have for the priesthood!
