Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour

Someone so rightly said, “If you deny that you are a sinner, then you have no right to call Jesus Christ your Saviour?”

To deny that  we are sinners is to call God a liar. Who dares to do this? I will never dare to say anything against my Lord God. I thank Him the day He gave me the grace to accept Him as my Lord and my Master. He is all to me, and I desire to seek Him and love Him and follow Him all the days of my life.

I am a sinner. I need God’s forgiveness each day for the just falls seven times a day.

Are you a disciple of the Lord?

Have you had a life-changing personal encounter with Christ ?

Are you spiritually mature and doctrinally informed ?

Do you go forth to proclaim Christ joyfully and communicate the kerygma creatively ?

Do you ground your work in prayer and holiness of life ?

Do you live a Eucharistic life ?

Do you live a life in community ?

Do you intercede for others ?

Do you look out for brothers /sisters who are living without the strength, light and consolation born of friendship with Jesus, without a community of faith to support them, without meaning and goals in life ?

Are you called to be instruments of God for the liberation and promotion of the poor, and for enabling them to be fully a part of society ?

Church of St Vincent de Paul

A parish that I go to now and then. It is convenient to go there. Mass starts at 7a.m. and the only thing I do not find too convenient is that it is a residential area. There is no place to find breakfast.

But that is not really the issue. . . What I love is to find the Adoration Room almost empty as the minutes go by. I usually have the chance to adore our Eucharistic Lord all by myself. It is peaceful and so suitable for silent reflection.
